Section titled “Abstract”Abstract Single crystals of two modifications of the title compound are obtained from the solid state reaction of stoichiometric mixtures of Li 2 S, Mn, Sn, and sulfur (graphite crucible in a sealed silica tube, 800 °C, 30 h).
